The image is in a folder called C:\Shrek 2 and the only folders in THAT are the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. I downloaded the XML file as instructed (Shrek_2_[Widescreen].dvdid.xml) and saved it in C:\Skrek 2. I went into My Videos and added the folder C:\Shrek 2. The "DVD" shows up in My DVDS but no info, no graphic, nada. Just the default image it showed before. I tried severals things. Downloaded a different one called Shrek_2.dvdid.xml and got the same results. I tried renaming them by removing the underscore and making it a space. No Joy. What am I doing wrong? When I insert a DVD into my drive it shows up fine in My DVDS. Thanks for helping a MCE Newbie. Troy

How strange... Anyone else have this problem? Useful Links: [submit a dvdid] [my dvd settings] [search] [faq] [contact us]

I don't know if it makes a difference but I added the DVD by going to My Videos, and then "Add folder". I added the parent folder (the one that had the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders in it). In My Videos, it shows as a folder with two folder icons inside it. In My DVDs, it shows the image and description.

Sorry for the "bad english"...What was meant to be said is that the DVDXML id has be created and maintain locally. Follow the link and also use the FAQ for the solution.

In the future, please make your DVD request via the Forum.
For "I Love You, Man" you will need to follow place the DVDXML id locally to your system and modify your id and cover art.
This is due to the information not being available in Microsoft's MCE database NOT DVDXML.com.
See http://www.dvdxml.com/p/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?1725 for the finer details.
