  Registered Member #1168 Joined: Tue Jan 30 2007, 01:22PM: posts: 5 | Hi, I am very glad with the new dvd gallery in Vista. Is it possible to change the TYPE (one of the SORT options). Now there is only RECORDED TV or DVD. In MCE 2005 I had my movies and dvd's grouped in folders (Automotive, Documentaries, Kids etcetera). BTW: compliments for DVDXML: it is great to get the movie info on screen. Thanks! If so, I don't think Vista will display the folders in DVD Library. Vista actually goes out and just finds all the DVD folders, then displays them. It does work a bit different than XP Media Center. You could access your DVD library through My Videos, but then you would lose functionality of displaying DVD information, even if you had a dvdid.xml file in that folder. When I sort on Type, all I see in the DVD Gallery is: Recorded TV and DVD. How does Vista determine this?
